Shortened Transcript

  • Setup: Pastor Nate opens with the feeling of “rest-guilt.”

  • Game Spotlight: Wanderstop follows Alta, a burned-out champion who collapses and ends up running a tea shop with Boro. Everything in the game forces her (and the player) to slow down.

  • Key Scripture: Mark 2:23-28. Jesus reminds rule-keepers that “The Sabbath was made for humans, not humans for the Sabbath.”

  • Parallel: Alta treats rest like weakness; Jesus and the forest show it’s grace.

  • Turning Point: Alta meets “the Monster” (her inner child) and literally lays down her sword. Healing begins when she accepts rest.

  • Takeaway: Sabbath is God’s gift. We don’t earn it—we receive it.
