Opening Prayer

Start with a prayer inviting understanding.

Sample Prayer:
God, thank You for trusting ordinary people with meaningful things. Help us release the pressure to save everyone, fix every problem, and see every result. Teach us to be faithful with what You have placed in our hands. Open our hearts as we learn what it means to be trustworthy stewards of Your grace. Amen.

  3. Do you tend to measure success by results, feelings, or faithfulness? Why?

  4. What is one quiet, ordinary responsibility in your life that matters more than people may realize

Shortened Transcript

In Many Nights a Whisper, the Dreamer spends ten years preparing for one important shot. They listen to people’s wishes, decide which ones to accept, and carry the pressure of a whole community.

But the Dreamer is not the one who makes the wishes come true. They are only trusted with their part.

In 1 Corinthians 4:1–2, Paul says we are stewards of God’s mysteries and that stewards must be found trustworthy. We are not called to save everyone, control every outcome, or always see the results of our faithfulness. Jesus is the Savior. Our job is to be faithful with what God places in our care.

Sometimes God works quietly. Even when we do not feel anything dramatic, our ordinary acts of prayer, service, kindness, and love still matter.
